Mr.
Waymire
is an air quality scientist with over 16 years of specialized expertise
in air quality modeling and impact analysis, global and regional
atmospheric
change and climatic studies, risk management, and air quality
permitting.
His experience includes application, development, and interpretation of
meteorological models; evaluation of global warming issues for the air
transportation industry; health risk assessments for over 30 industrial
facilities including some of the largest facilities considered under
California’s
AB2588 Air Toxics program; air quality impact assessments for
environmental
impact reports; and, risk management modeling of accidental releases.

EXPERIENCE
SUMMARY
Mr. Waymire's project
experience
includes:
- Fugitive
dust
and particulate matter dispersion modeling for the Castle Mountain gold
mining operation.
- Air
permitting
for refinery reformulated fuels project including alkylation, process
heaters
and boilers, flares, naphtha isomerization, FCC unit jet cut tower, and
tanks. Quantified criteria pollutant emissions and completed air
toxics and accidental release modeling assessments.
- Compliance
evaluations
including air quality source-specific standards, new source review,
best
available control technology determinations, and federal source
performance
standards for reformulated fuels designs.
- Flammability
and
air toxics assessment to study process relief scenarios for
hydrocarbons
from a refinery dehaxanizer pressure relief valve. Simulated
dense
gas release via the Lawrence Livermore SLAB model.
- Air
quality modeling
in complex terrain for a paint manufacturing facility in San Diego with
over 280 receptor centroids.
- Air
toxics health
risk assessments for the Miramar, 32nd Street, and Camp Pendleton
military
facilities in southern California for hundreds of receptors,
pollutants,
and sources under the Comprehensive Long-Term Environmental Action –
Navy
(CLEAN) program.
